Who makes a cellphone signal booster or cellphone signal relay?
The new office space located in Wyckoff NJ that we recently moved into has VERY poor cell phone signal reception for all major cell phone carriers. Is there a cellphone signal relay or signal booster product that my company can purchase and place on the roof of the building to caputure a weak cellphone signal and allow us to have cellphone receiption in the building? The company owns a NEC IPK PBX, could that be used in any manner to distribute cell phone calls in the building?
Talk to people in your area about the service with the best service. You should consider SWITCHING. Here in Connecticut, Cingular is very very good, and Verizon is very good. T-Mobile has massive dead-zones. I hear that Nextel is pretty good in my area, and that Sprint has improved in recent years.
One thing about T-mobile, is that their website will show actual signal strength that you can expect in great detail. This seems to be the only service that provides such detail. Other services simply claim great service, but dead zones are everywhere. There are still those towns that refuse to allow Cell Phone towers to be put up.
I know people whose lives were SAVED because of Cell phones, so it is pretty darn stupid to have NO service. It really pays to have the best possible service.
See if you can talk to various Cell phone services about setting up your office with better service. HEY, they might even pay you to put up a CELL. I know that they have done so in the United Nations building and other places in New York City.
They actually sell them at cell phone dealers.
