Either your monitor is telling the truth and you video card is on the way out.

Or you monitor is confused and it is on the way out.


Try to borrow another monitor and see what happens.</description>

		<description>In safe mode,right click anywhere on the desktop...go to settings&gt;advanced..In the options that you get here,reset the screen refresh rate to the one compatible to your monitor..
there is an option to display only compatible modes...select one..advisable between 60-72  hertz range..
