NEC business (display) telephone. I accidentally erased the standard operator greeting. How do I get it back?

It's not erased from your phone, it's erased from your voicemail. If you power down the voicemail, you might lose your saved messages. It depends how big your system is and if it has a computer monitor and keyboard hooked up to it, how complicated it willl be to restore. Look for an operators manual. You can probably also record your own greeting from your phone. Failing all this, you'll need to get a tech over. At least the operator greeting is at the beginning of the decision tree, don't go too far into the programming. Good luck.
