Infared on laptop?
I am trying to send a picture from my phone onto my laptop via infared, but every time i try and send it, it just says "sending failed". The laptop has a little icon telling me it can detect the phone, so i know the connection is allright, but it still fails every time i try and send it. I dont think it matters, but the phone is a nokia 6101 and the laptop a NEC versa. Any ideas?
is their a port open on the laptop?
check the settings on the infrared icon.If there is a specific port handling the connection. You may need to open that port on your firewall.
call your cell phone company and see what they say
