I keep on getting this "disc burner or software not found" crap when I'm trying to burn a mp3 cd. It does the same on Windows Media Player and it's really starting to piss me off bad. Can't even burn music...wtf?? The drive can still play mp3 cds on here. I know the drive is compatible because I've been burning cds for years and plus it shows the drives name under preferences. Has anybody had a problem like this?? Thank god I'm getting a laptop soon cuz I don't wanna deal with this crap again. So anybody recognize this problem and know how to solve it? I went through the iTunes diagnostics and this is what I got >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If you have multiple drives on the same IDE or SCSI bus, these drives may interfere with each other.
Some computers need an update to the ATA or IDE bus driver, or Intel chipset. If iTunes has problems recognizing CDs or hanging or crashing while importing or burning CDs, check the support site for the manufacturer of your computer or motherboard.

im looking to purchase a new monitor and am in the market for one that features 'Opticlear' technology. This feature basically brightens and sharpens the overall display and can be identified by its glossy screen as opposed to the standard matte surface of traditional LCD's. i normally don't associate health precautions with computer equipment but im concerned whether or not the brighter display of these monitors can potentially cause stress to the eyes after extended periods of use. i currently have a CRT monitor that i had to adjust the brightness on since it begins to strain on my eyes after awhile.

i don't believe my eyes to be extra sensitive to screen glare but perhaps they are. either way i am wondering if anyone can give their two cents about this, particularly those who have this style monitor. for the record the one i am interested in is the NEC Multisync 70GX2 (or possibly the 90GX2).
